Our Story
On March 11, 1997, Emagenes Health Shop opened its doors in the Westdene Arcade, Bloemfontein. A few years later, we expanded across the street to the Loch Logan Waterfront, eventually closing our original shop to focus on this new location. After some time, we moved again—this time to a beautiful spot right next to the water, with easy access from an outside parking area.
Back then, we had no idea just how incredible this journey would be. Over the years, we’ve learned so much—from each other, from our trusted suppliers, from ongoing courses, and most importantly, from you, our customers.
Today, Emagenes runs like a well-oiled machine, powered by a dedicated team of 10 people working shifts. But we’re more than just a team—we are both blood family and heart family. Many of us had deep connections long before working together, and the younger ones? They weren’t even born when Emagenes first opened its doors!
Emagenes is more than just a health shop. It’s a space of healing, community, laughter, and truth—where knowledge is shared, experience is valued, and people are empowered to heal and live well—the Emagenes way.
