More information about Charka Candles:
Charkas are the circular vortexes of energy that are placed in seven different points on the spinal column, and all the seven chakras are connected to the various organs and glands within the body. These chakras are responsible for disturbing the life energy, which is also known as Qi or Praana.
“May this candle help to honour this truth, bring balance and vibrancy to your life”
According to Hindu/Buddhist belief, chakras are vast pools of energy in our bodies which control our psychological qualities. It is said there are seven chakras in all; four in our upper body, which control our mental properties, and three in the lower body, which govern our instinctual properties. They are:
- The Muladhara (root) chakra
- The Svadhisthana (sacral) chakra
- The Manipura (solar plexus) chakra
- The Anahata(heart) chakra
- The Visuddhi (throat) chakra
- The Ajna (third eye) chakra
- The Sahasrara (crown) chakra
According to the Buddhist/Hindu teachings, all of the chakras can contribute to a human’s well-being. Our instincts would join with our emotions and logical-thinking. Some of our chakras are usually not open all the way (meaning, they operate just like when you were born), but some are over-active, or even near closed. If the chakras are not balanced, peace with the self cannot be achieved.
